"Self-taught photographer Anabel Vandesande first found her love for photography when she left Belgium and moved to LA at the young age of 17. Not knowing what to expect, she quickly found herself in a whirlwind of travels. As she's very easily drawn to new things, she continued to move every six months or so between places such as Barcelona, Australia, Ibiza, California, Brazil and since recently also Mexico. As she moved around this much, she found herself needing to have a creative outlet to express herself and to stay grounded from all the triggers and visual stimulus accompanied with her rapidly changing surroundings."
